A new blog was started last month by Nick of N.Design Studio who is the creator of a few popular free wordpress themes and mini icons. His new blog is titled Web Designer Wall (WDW) and has a very unique and artistically creative but still very functional wordpress theme. I have been watching the blog grow over the last few weeks and it is simply just great for those of us that want to learn designing techniques from one of the best designers on the Internet. I am a web programmer by heart, so any extra designing tips are always welcomed in my book.
The most interesting and impressive article happens to be the second one they’ve posted which outlines the design process of WDW. Includes a few sketches and the different stages they went through to come up with their wordpress theme. I personally can’t draw at all. I was in art class since a very young age, but if there were any drawing projects I always traded work with a classmate. I’m so guilty of this! At some point my art teachers assigned me different projects other than drawing, thankfully.
I’ve done a lot of favicon articles this past month and their article How to Create Mini Icons is great for any of you that want to create your own favicon from scratch and need a few designing tips. The article teaches you step by step how to create those tiny little icons or favicons in Photoshop.
The community from N.Design Studio has welcomed the new blog and it is booming with a lot of great feedback from visitors too! If you need a little design inspiration or would like to learn a few designing tips, check out the new blog Web Designer Wall.

The design is actually great..
It is an awesome theme. Han is a big fan of N.Design Studio. It is such an attractive blog to look at.
Both his N.Design Studio and WDW have awesome themes, there just isn’t that many websites that can match up to the themes in creativity. With WDW it is like a notebook, so it is so cute and works too!
I too loved his article on the design process. As a web designer it is always very interesting to see how others go through their design process. How they take an idea in their head, sketch it out and then piece it together into a website.
I think the best part, however, was watching the progression. The progression from one mockup to another to the final. Very insightful, to me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on it too Sarah.
