A lot has changed since this post. However, Technorati still rocks. Great resource/tool.

I hate upgrades, and I'm always paranoid that the next update will destroy what I've set up on my blog. Oh well, here's to hoping!

The replies seem to prefer Technorati to Google. That's may be right... At the moment... But remember how Microsoft was always (and still is) late in developing something really revolutionary, but then was coming back on competitors and overtaking them? I think the same thing's gonna happen with Google. It's got more power and more money and eventually (and unfortunately) it will win. It's just a matter of time.

Technorati is way better, but Google does not like to be second best, so I m sure we will be seeing a lot of changes.

There is a huge difference between a new installation and upgrade. I have 5 blogs and one of them(Which Have some PR) has WP2.1. I have installed WP 2.5.1 on all other four blogs but still hesitating to upgrade oldest.
