Browsershots provides a free service that helps you see what your website looks like through other opeating systmes and browsers. The service works great, however it is still limited to only a few browsers and operating systems, plus I find it hard to use as they don’t save the screenshots for me. BrowserCam provides 7 operating systems and several different versions of the most popular browser types. It is without a doubt the best browser screenshot capturing service out there. The one downside though, is that it does cost $19.95 for a one-day pass making it a big costly for the average webmaster to get access and use BrowserCam’s valuable service.
See a full screenshot example or see the example below of what of what BrowserCam’s screen capture service will look like:

For the last 2 years I have been getting access to BrowserCam for same cost as a one-day pass. No it is not illegal and BrowserCam is fully aware of our membership status. Basically there are ongoing groups at SitePoint through this thread that start a Fundable.org group and collect up to 25 members at a $40 a year, which totals $1000 for their BC-Premium service which gives you basically the run of the place. BrowserCam BC-Premium description:
Priority screen capture and remote access queues, a higher number of users, 120-minute Remote Access sessions on Windows and Linux machines and 60-minute sessions on Mac machines, a higher number of Full Page Captures, and more.
Check out the current Fundable group trying to collect enough memberships to see how the group works. The price has gone up since I last joined one of these groups, but it is still affordable. Once the group is filled they make a purchase at BrowserCam for the membership and BrowserCam will deliver the username/password combos.
I have done this for 2 years in a row since I discovered these SitePoint group fundings for BrowserCam and I can say that I’ve always been very happy with my access. Login just like any other member, take unlimited screenshots, and have access to all of the services they offer - because you have the highest package they offer with this group deal!

I personally prefer browsershots.org, although it doesn’t contain as many different settings as browsercam it does have all the major settings which would still cover the majority of your visitors by far. Best of all though, unlike browsercam it’s completely free.
Wow I never even heard of Fundable. I bet there are all sorts of good group purchases going on with it!
I just realized that BrowserCam is doing FireFox 3.0 beta. In the top screenshot there, that is interesting. I would use BrowsersShots.org if I had never found the group purchases.
@Sucker: Fundable.org is really cool an’t it? I’ve done co-ops there for quite a few other things too that require getting discounts for bulk ordering. Onetime the leader disappeared and fundable actually stepped in and took care of of the co-op for us. I feel comfortable using them and know that they will respond if anything comes up.
You can check if it is compatible using your own computer. If you need another OS you can always use a friend’s computer or public ones who has the OS you want to test.
