If you love knowing the PageRank and value of websites you visit, check out Smart PageRank. I have discovered this website last month and have been using on it every since. Type in a domain, yours or anybody else’s and you can see PageRank, back links, estimated value, among other interesting tidbits only webmasters would find interesting.
I know of a few other websites that have similar tools, but I’ve stuck with Smart PageRank because they also have come up with a FireFox toolbar! I’ve been using it regularly to see the PageRank of any page I’m visiting (near instantly, sometimes takes 5 seconds) along with Alexa’s rank too. With a click of a button you can evaluate the website, check whois, and check backlinks.
I don’t have any other tool bars installed, in fact this is the first I’ve ever installed. I like keeping my browser simple, but its fun to guesstimate the value of domains and see its current ranking.

OK - Smart PageRank appears to be defective - it somehow valued my site at $0. Maybe the site has decided that if I am not part of my blog it is not worth anything . . . stupid tool . . .
Website Grader is another tool that evaluates multiple website metrics to come up with a score out of 100% about the marketing effectiveness of a blog.
I have noticed some bloggers focus on a single metric such as Technorati, Alexa or Google Pagerank to evaluate their blog. You seem to understand that it isn’t any one metric, but a combination of these metrics that can help you best evaluate your site.
Tool doesn’t take into account a lot of things especially if you are making money, it has no idea! Thanks for link, I think I’ve been there at least I see ads all over for that website. I shall give it a try, but it ask me for too much information hahaha, can’t it just be point and click? I’m too lazy!
The more I work on my blog, it seems those are second to creating great content. I think the rest will fall into place on its own!

I’ve been using PRchecker.net, just plain PR checking…..Its time to try this out. Maybe you could add the link to the FF extension?
Yes, I think it was not showing correct Values from yesterday ( Tuesday).
The best tool on net for checking PR. But i didn;t sow does it checks for fake pagerank?
It is not a good tool at all. It is showing the wrong values. Also there is no fake PR check facility available.
How can I check the fake PR? I think it is the must functionality we need to have in PR checking script
I use Rankquest toolbar with firefox. it has much more than pagerank info
like Validation, Meta analyzer etc.
