I have a strange addiction to stock icons. I don’t necessarily have a great need for them, but I find myself searching for new ones quite often. Last year Icon Buffet started delivering free stock icons to it’s members and I have been enjoying my free icons ever since. They have added many features to their free icon delivery service, including sending icons to other members, chat with other members on their blog forums, and if you can’t get enough of their free icons, you can upgrade to a VIP premium membership to get your icons even quicker.

The chefs over at IconBuffet create pretty unique stock icons too. Each set is based around a central theme, such as Acapulco System and Tokyo Mad Scientist. They also release several sets around that same theme, so overtime you will have a series of matching sets. Currently there are over 100 free icon sets you can collect and they keep adding new ones all the time. I certainly appreciate the chefs making some awesome cute free icons for everybody.

So how do you get free icons? It’s easy, simply go to IconBuffet website and sign-up! You will get free tokens regularly to receive icons and you can also gain stamps to send icons to your friends too. It is a great little community of icon traders to help you get the icons you want.
