I just started building my website a few months ago. Before that time I didn’t even know that other browsers were out there. I recently started using FF and won’t go back. So much better than IE.

I think the browser preference is indicative of the subject matter and the demographics of the audience.
My blog traffic tends to be primarily Firefox as well, but another site that I work with that sells corn stoves is primarily IE.

If it wasn’t for the fact that I have to open up IE7 and IE6 every now and then to check how my blog looks in those browsers, I wouldn’t even have those installed.

Once I started using Firefox, I never looked back.

IE7 certainly does seem to have a lot of users even in the tech world I see more and more people saying they are for sure using it. I have been using it on my laptop because it is the only OS that I have that will install IE7 + IE7 allows me to watch on demand Netflix movies, can’t go wrong there.

But it hasn’t impressed me that much. Are there plugins for IE7 at the level of FireFox?

Did you see that Matt Mullenweg from Wordpress confessed he’s been using IE7 lately? Personally, I use a lot more IE7 and FireFox, but I definitely double-check my blog and other blogs with FireFox just to be sure of compatability.
